Classes for Causes' mission is connecting people to raise money and awareness for causes through teaching and learning.

Big News: We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization!

We are thrilled to announce that on Saturday May 21, 2009 we received our letter of designation from the Internal Revenue Service. That means that contributions to Classes for Causes are tax deductible under section 170 of the Code. The IRS has determined that we are indeed a public charity and we can move forward in our efforts to promote giving through teaching and learning.

If you wish to make a tax deductible contribution to Classes for Causes to help us help others raise money and awareness for various causes through teaching and learning, please make your donation online or mail a check to

Classes for Causes.... A New Way to Give.
Lisa Whether cooking in a soup kitchen for the homeless, working with SF Connect, or taking time off from her job to teach mathematics to disadvantaged middle school children, Lisa has always tried to find time to make that difference in the lives of people less fortunate. Jen Jennifer is teaching a class on "Creating Custom Cell Phone Ring Tones" and donating her proceeds to assist with autism research.
